Government College Dharamshala actively participated in the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (Drug-Free India Campaign) with great enthusiasm and commitment. As part of this nationwide initiative, teachers and students from various departments of the college joined hands to spread awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to promote a healthy, responsible, and addiction-free lifestyle.

The oath-taking ceremony was conducted in both online and offline modes to ensure maximum participation. Faculty members and students gathered on the college campus for the offline event, while others joined virtually through online platforms. Participants pledged to stay away from drugs, discourage substance abuse in society, and contribute towards building a healthier and stronger nation.

The programme witnessed active participation from different departments, reflecting the collective determination of the college community to support the vision of a drug-free India. During the event, participants were encouraged to become ambassadors of awareness and to educate their families, friends, and communities about the dangers of addiction.

The Principal of the college appreciated the efforts of all departments and emphasized the importance of youth involvement in social awareness campaigns. The event successfully reinforced the message that collective action and awareness are essential in combating the menace of drug abuse.
