The Department of BBA, Government Degree College Dharamshala, in collaboration with NITCON Limited, Department of Industries, Government of Himachal Pradesh, organised a three-day workshop on “Entrepreneurship Development: Business Ideation, Startup Pitching and Funding” from 19th to 21st August 2026.

The workshop aims to develop an entrepreneurial mindset among students and provide practical exposure to business ideation, startup pitching and funding opportunities. The sessions are being conducted by experts Mr. Shubham Jamwal, Mr. Raghav Singh Rana and Mr. Rajan Minhas, who are guiding students through interactive and practical sessions.

Prof. Rakesh Pathania, Principal, appreciated the initiative and emphasised the importance of entrepreneurship and innovation among youth. Dr. Parvesh Gill, Coordinator, Department of BBA, highlighted the significance of industry-oriented learning for students.

Mrs. Minakshi Saroch, Mrs. Sujata Kaundal and Mr. Dheeraj Katoch, faculty members of the department, are actively coordinating the programme. The workshop is witnessing enthusiastic participation from BBA students and is expected to enhance their entrepreneurial skills and encourage them to explore entrepreneurship as a career option.
