On the occasion of NCC Day, various activities were organized in the college campus of GPGC Dharamshala. Tribute to the martyrs, rally against drug abuse, tree plantation, blood donation camp, slogan writing, poster making competition and cleanliness drive was organized. After paying homage to the martyrs, a rally was taken out against drug abuse, in which people were made aware and motivated to avoid drugs. In the blood donation camp the cadets 1HP(G) Battalion NCC Solan along with NSS and other volunteers donated blood in which about 75 units of blood was collected. All the blood donors were awarded medals and certificates. On the previous day, slogan writing and poster making competition on drug abuse was organized and cadets participated in the cleanliness drive which was oraganized in the war memorial. On this occasion, Principal of the college Shri Rakesh Pathania congratulated the cadets and their ANO Captain Dr. Monika Sharma on NCC Day and motivated them to organize various activities with similar enthusiasm in future also.
