A two day celebration on the eve of Diwali was made in the Department of Commerce at Government College Dharamshala on 8th and 9th November 2023. A cleanliness drive was organised for cleaning the flower beds, classrooms and the complex around the Department of Commerce. Flowers were also planted on this occasion on 9th November 2023. Different competitions -Poster making, Rangoli etc were organised. Principal, Dr. Sanjivan Katoch also visited the venue and inspired the students to celebrate green and safe Diwali. Students actively participated in all the events. They also decorated their classrooms on the occasion of Diwali. All the faculty members Dr. Madan Guleria, Dr. Ajay Chaudhary, Dr. Parvesh Gill, Dr. Snehlata, Dr. Anjana Rani and Dr. Harsh Deepika Datta of the Department of Commerce and more than 400 students participated in the cleanliness drive and other activities.
